Emergency Bypass for Wireless Printing Problems
Wireless printing problems can be difficult to fix because there are a number of things that can go wrong. A quick work-around is to use a USB cable directly from your computer to the printer. Most printers with USB support will use a cable with a “Type-A” connector on one end and a “Type-B” connector on the other end. The following image shows the difference:

If you can find the cable that came with your printer that’s the best solution. The Type-A connector (rectangular) will go into your computer, and the Type-B connector (mostly square with beveled corners) will go into the printer. In most cases you can connect the computer directly to the printer, and the operating system will recognize the printer without any problems. Of course, this may require bringing the computer and printer close enough for the cable to reach, but that should work in a pinch.
