A tribute by Tina

JUDY FOILES,   long time resident of Cameron Mobile Estates passed away Oct. 11, 2020. Judy lived here from 1993 until August 2019 when due to health issues she moved to assisted living.  Judy was very active here at Cameron’s and loved to be on the go. She had many things she loved, First and foremost Judy loved the Lord, Judy loved her family and Judy loved to garden. She had a beautiful garden and was in charge of the landscape at her church.

Judy loved to quilt and  belonged to the Legacy Quilt Guild  and The Cameron’s quilt group, Judy made many many BEAUTIFUL QUILTS.

Judy loved to paint. First doing tole painting then belonging to the painting group here at Camerons where she used acrylics painting many lovely pictures.

Judy belonged to the Tuesdays Ladies Club for many years, Also  the monthly Ladies Out To Lunch Bunch.   ( Judy did love to eat out )

Judy also participated in the water aerobics class at the Cameron pool.

AND Judy loved to go to the movies, either here at the club house or out to movie theaters. As long as they were happy movies she didn’t care what was playing, she just LOVED movies.

Judy is missed by many here at the park and of course by her family.

  1. Judy was the first person who welcomed me and my husband to the park in 2000. We had several rose bushes in our yard, but I was still working and my husband was not in good health,so Judy came over one day and pruned all of them. I loved her for that. We remained friends. I was sad to see her leave and will miss her very much. She gave me one of her lovely quilts after calling me and asking me to come over for coffee one day. I will cherish that quilt which she allowed me to choose from her many which were displayed in her home.
I will miss her. She was a wonderful neighbor.

  2. My sister Sandy and I both loved Judy. She also helped me with my rose bushes but I didn’t learn enough from her. Know she is in Heaven with Sandy now.
